Bio:
Karmen Rose is a rising artist hailing from Hamilton, Ontario, with a musical journey deeply rooted in her family’s legacy. Growing up surrounded by music, Karmen’s grandfather’s involvement in “The Harvester” band ignited her passion for the art form. However, after her grandfather’s passing in 2010, Karmen temporarily set aside her musical aspirations.
In 2019, Karmen Rose found solace and expression through songwriting after experiencing significant life events. Transforming her emotions into melodies, she discovered a profound connection to her music, spending countless hours crafting lyrics in her car to instrumental tracks on YouTube.
Determined to pursue her musical dreams, Karmen sought guidance from vocal coach Jill Zadeh, known for her work on Janet Jackson’s “Unbreakable World Tour.” With newfound mentor ship, Karmen honed her vocal skills and built a fully insulated vocal room in her backyard.
In 2021, Karmen Rose furthered her musical education by joining a boot camp program led by music producer Alex Rome, enhancing her mixing and mastering abilities. April 22nd, 2023 marked the release of her debut single, “Looking at Her,” signalling the beginning of her journey as a solo artist.
Continuing to evolve her sound, Karmen Rose unveiled a new direction with her 2024 release, “Reckless,” showcasing a fusion of rock elements with her signature pop sensibilities
